An unidentified suspect, a Black male with his face covered, approached with a firearm and demanded money.

Trying to assist with the passenger's belongings as he exited the vehicle, the driver was confronted by the armed suspect. According to CBS Miami, the robbery swiftly escalated when the suspect also tried to take the passenger's phone and other items. In his intervention, the driver was shot in the shoulder. Despite the violent altercation, the passenger, in this harrowing ordeal, remained physically unharmed. The driver, after being shot, was transported to the hospital. His injuries, though serious, were deemed non-life-threatening by authorities. As the situation unfolded, the suspect escaped and remains at large.
