With serious injuries sustained, upon arrival the victim, the victim was immediately attended to and was prepared for an expedited medevac. The individual was then transported by ambulance to a Boston MedFlight helicopter waiting at Beth Israel Hospital in Plymouth and subsequently airlifted to a level 1 trauma center located in Boston. They received the patient, who was suffering from serious injuries, which Barnstable Police are now scrutinizing as part of their ongoing crash analysis.
