In the pre-dawn hours last Monday, a group of five individuals fell victim to an armed robbery as they left a recording studio on Lemp Avenue in Marine Villa, an incident that is currently under investigation by the District 3 police, per a report issued by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
Two of the five victims, both 19-year-old males, later went to the Central Patrol Division to relay details of their harrowing experience, claiming they were confronted by several unknown male suspects, each brandishing handguns, they were then robbed of personal belongings, following their late-night studio session, the police department detailed in their statement.
The assailants apparently made a swift getaway in two vehicles, described as a white sedan and a black sedan, directly after the crime took place, this left the victims unharmed but stripped of their possessions; however, the three accompanying friends of the reporting individuals were not located or identified following the incident.
