Gresham police have identified the victim as 17-year-old Jorge Ovidio Mateo Vasquez. According to KOIN, the fatal incident occurred at the Southeast Portland park last Thursday.
Police arrived at the scene in the 1400 block of Southeast 182nd Avenue shortly after 4 p.m. to discover Vasquez with fatal gunshot wounds.
