Three individuals were transferred to local hospitals following a collision involving a tour bus and multiple vehicles in downtown Miami. As reported by 7News, the incident took place near Northeast Fourth Street and Biscayne Boulevard yesterday afternoon around 3:15 p.m. The bus, belonging to BigBusTours.com, veered off the road and knocked over a tree amidst the chaos.

Although specifics have yet to come to light, the Miami Police confirmed the involvement of four vehicles in the crash. Julio Abello, a driver caught in the mayhem, told 7News, "Basically I was in the center lane, the bus was right there picking up passengers, when all of sudden he darted out and took me with him all the way to the top." The unexpected event left victims wounded, mainly from the shattered glass, but no serious injuries were disclosed.

Passengers were observed disembarking from the damaged double-decker bus, with a shattered front windshield and surrounding snapped tree limbs captured at the scene. A man, who chose to remain anonymous, recounted to NBC6 that he "got hit from behind by the bus" after hearing a deafening noise, calling the experience "very scary." According to Miami Fire Rescue, three individuals necessitated hospital attention, with two being taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital Ryder Trauma Center and one to the University of Miami Hospital.

Efforts were made to clear the area post-accident, with towing crews working diligently to remove the bus from atop the fallen tree. The lane was blocked for approximately 20 minutes during this process. As of now, it is unclear what precisely led the driver to lose control and the Miami Police have not indicated whether there will be any charges against the operator. The coach tour company has yet to publicly comment on the event. Information from Local10 affirms that while the crash did not result in grave injuries, the aftermath left a few individuals bleeding and needing medical treatment.
