Two individuals have been extradited to Nashville in connection with the slaying of a truck driver that occurred back in early 2024. Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) confirmed the suspects, identified as 46-year-old Charvelle Clark of California and 36-year-old Nikki Landry of Louisiana, were originally apprehended in Holmes County, Florida.

According to an article from WKRN, the truck driver, 37-year-old David White, was discovered deceased from gunshot wounds at a travel stop on Lucas Lane in East Nashville. His tragic end was found at the Love’s Truck Stop, as reported by WSMV, where the police engaged the public for assistance to track down the linked vehicle soon after the incident.

Both suspects were charged with second-degree murder with Landry having been transported back to Nashville on December 27, 2024, and Clark following on a recent Friday afternoon. Metro Nashville PD's social media post noted that "Clark was returned to Nashville from Florida this afternoon and booked on the 2nd-degree murder indictment. Nikki Landry was returned on 12/27 & charged with second-degree murder." The court system has set their bonds, with each individual's bail standing at $150,000.

Charvelle Clark and Nikki Landry were arrested in Florida and brought to Nashville, facing serious charges. Details of the charges are not yet available.
