
Two teenagers were apprehended this past weekend in Nashville's trendy district known as The Gulch, following allegations of vehicle break-ins. Markese Todd, 18, and Marquise Johnson, 19, have been arrested and face multiple charges associated with the overnight incidents, with reports of them breaking car windows and burglarizing vehicles at a parking lot on Division Street, according to WSMV.
Nashville police were dispatched to the scene after witnesses heard glass breaking and officers subsequently observed two individuals in dark clothing fleeing the area, the situation escalated when the suspects split up after being followed by the police, one darting down an alley only to find a dead-end, while the other was discovered attempting to hide in a gravel lot behind an abandoned structure, s detailed by WSMV.
WKRN has outlined the charges against the pair, with Todd receiving a $44,000 bond and Johnson's set at $52,000. Todd is charged with four counts of felony motor vehicle burglary and evading arrest, while Johnson also faces charges for burglary tool possession, evading arrest, and a misdemeanor for substance possession.
