On Tuesday, around 4:15 P.M., an adult male exposed himself to a group of juveniles in the Macy's bathroom at 385 Southbridge Street. The suspect was arrested and held overnight at the Auburn Police Station on $5,000 bail, as reported by the Auburn Police Department.

After the incident, the juveniles alerted a store employee, prompting a quick response from Auburn Police. The suspect, 62-year-old Hector Diaz from Worcester, was arrested and is facing charges of open and gross lewdness and lascivious behavior. Auburn Police stated, "This investigation indicates that Mr. Diaz intentionally exited a stall with his pants down and genitals exposed, knowing that the juveniles were in the common area of the bathroom," as stated by the Auburn Police Department.

According to the Auburn Police Department's Facebook page, Diaz was arrested and held on a $5,000 bail before being arraigned on Wednesday. He was released on personal recognizance with orders to stay away from the victims. Macy’s will issue a no trespass order against him. The police encourage anyone with more information to come forward as they continue their investigation.
