According to the Chicago Police Department's official news release, the teenager faces one felony count of aggravated battery with a firearm and two felony counts of criminal damage to property ranging from $500 to $10,000.
The incident, which took place on January 27, 2025, resulted in the injury of a young woman and damage to two vehicles due to gunfire. The arrest occurred a week later, yesterday, on the 3400 block of W. Wabansia, the perpetrator was taken into custody and, subsequently charged.
