Broward County Parks will offer free admission on Sunday, February 16, in celebration of its 69th anniversary. The usual $3 weekend and holiday gate fee will be waived, allowing residents and visitors to enjoy the county’s regional parks at no cost.
However, fees for amenities such as camping, boat rentals, and shelter reservations will still apply. Additionally, the fee waiver does not cover parking at Hollywood North Beach Park or the A1A pocket parks in Hollywood, according to a county news release.
Broward County Parks invites everyone to explore its green spaces—whether for the first time or as a return to a favorite spot. As the news release says, they are "YOUR PARK, YOUR WAY!" For more information, including which regional parks typically charge an entry fee, call 954-357-8100.
