The Hasty Pudding Theatricals are rolling out their annual Woman of the Year Parade this Wednesday. Heads up if you're planning on cruising through Harvard Square – you're in for some slow-going traffic and rerouted journeys. The city of Cambridge's Traffic, Parking & Transportation Department is issuing an advisory to make everyone's day a little less cumbersome.

According to an advisory posted on Cambridge's official website, set up kicks off at 1:00 PM on Harvard St between Prescott St and, Quincy St. The parade itself starts at 1:45 PM at the corner of Harvard St and Quincy St, then struts down Massachusetts Ave and hooks a right onto Holyoke St. 

For those parking and dashing, Holyoke St will be closed for about half an hour after the parade but will reopen shortly after. The event celebrates the contributions of women in the entertainment industry, a tradition since 1951.
