Clackamas County Social Services Division has rolled out its blueprint for the future of assistance to older adults and those with physical disabilities. According to an announcement on the county's official website, the 2025-2029 Area Plan crafted by the division is set to address the needs highlighted by a Community Survey completed last year. The division is hosting a live online presentation to introduce the plan to the public next Monday from 1 to 2 p.m.
To foster transparency and public involvement, the county is opening the floor for feedback. Residents are invited to peruse the draft plan and weigh in with comments and suggestions. The feedback platform, a survey link on the county’s website, is open through March 14. The Social Services Division promises to fold the community's voice into the final Area Plan, slated to begin on July 1 of the same year.
