
A series of vandalism incidents have targeted local churches in Clarksville. The Clarksville Police Department and Montgomery County Sheriff's Office are working together to find the responsible suspect. The estimated damage is around $9,000, including broken windows on church buildings and vehicles. Affected areas include Memorial Extension, Sango Road, and Highway 76, according to WSMV.
The Clarksville Police Department is working to locate a suspect involved in a series of damaging acts, identified from surveillance footage driving a white Kia Forte with a broken driver-side brake light. Authorities have not labeled the incidents as hate crimes. Clarksville Police Department spokesperson Officer Scott Beaubien stated, "at this time, investigators do not believe these incidents to be hate crimes," as reported by Clarksville Now.
