Earlier today, a car battery caught fire at a dealership in Coral Gables. The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. on the second floor of The Collection on Bird Road, as reported by WSVN.
The fire was quickly managed by dealership staff and local fire services, bringing the situation under control.
The fire involved a 400V lithium battery. The Coral Gables Fire Department (CGFD) responded promptly, safely removing the battery and extinguishing the fire. No injuries were reported, according to the department's Instagram post.
