The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is inviting the public to participate in a discussion about the Minnesota Ave NE Bus Priority Project. A public open house will be held on March where attendees can learn about and provide feedback on changes to bus operations along the corridor from Nannie Helen Burroughs Ave to East Capitol, as announced in a recent District Department of Transportation notice.
The meeting will be available both virtually and in-person to ensure broad participation. It will take place at the Department of General Services at 3924 Minnesota Ave NE, Washington, DC, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. For any questions, Maya Coleman can be contacted via email. If there are technical issues during the meeting, participants can call 202-997-8354 for assistance.
District Department of Transportation is committed to making the meeting accessible for everyone. In compliance with civil rights laws, they will ensure inclusivity for all community members, regardless of race, gender, or disability. Those needing ADA accommodations, such as sign language interpretation, should contact Xavier Davis at least 72 business hours before the event. For language assistance, Victor Rodriguez can arrange translation or interpretation services if contacted in advance.
Recognizing the diverse community, District Department of Transportation also offers language support. Spanish and French speakers can call the designated number for interpreter services. Meeting materials, including discussions and any resulting documents, will be available on the project website within 72 hours after the meeting, allowing those unable to attend to review the information and submit comments.
