The Donald Ross Road Bridge, an important route for both road and marine traffic, is currently experiencing issues that have halted marine traffic. According to CBS12, the bascule bridge has been locked for boats due to unexpected component problems. However, vehicles can still cross the bridge without any disruptions.
Officials are working to resolve the issue. CBS12 noted that staff is addressing the problem, with an update expected at 11 a.m. today. The Coast Guard has issued a Broadcast Notice to Mariners, informing boaters about the current status of the bridge.
The Palm Beach County Facebook page confirmed that the bridge’s limitations will remain in place until further notice.
