With the east wind shifting to the northwest this afternoon, a calm and mostly clear evening is anticipated. According to the National Weather Service, the nighttime temperature is expected to decrease at around 39°F. Riding the wave of a northwest wind around 5 mph, tonight's tranquility is poised to settle in after another sun-kissed day.
Looking ahead to Sunday, the NWS predicts a sunny day with a high near 72°F, with a west-northwest wind gently pushing the mercury up. The nighttime continues the clear sky theme and a low of around 42°F. As the sun sets, a west wind of about 6 mph will turn calm, cradling El Paso into a restful evening.
Come Monday, residents can expect another day under the sun, with high temperatures soaring up to 77°F and calm winds gaining a western tilt at 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Nightfall is expected to bring a mostly clear sky, accompanied by peaceful winds that will whisper at around 5 mph from the west-southwest before they too become calm in the evening.
