A flight crew member was detained at Boston's Logan Airport on yesterday evening, just before their scheduled departure. According to NBC Boston, U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents were reviewing the flight manifest when they discovered an active warrant for Jeremy Gudorf, a 33-year-old crew member from Ohio.
As Gudorf prepared to operate on a flight to Paris, Massachusetts State Police were requested to assist around 8:40 p.m. With not immediately clear if he had representation, Gudorf is due to appear in court today according to Massachusetts State Police.
In a separate report by WCVB, the warrant for Gudorf's arrest originates from Huntersville, North Carolina. Despite being identified on the flight manifest, the exact charges Gudorf faces remain unspecified.
Police did not disclose the airline employing Gudorf, who has been scheduled for a court appearance in East Boston District Court. While his legal predicament unfolds, passengers and crew members aboard the Paris-bound flight were caught in an unexpected snag. However, details on whether the flight experienced any delay due to the arrest have not been disclosed.
