The Hayward community has been called upon to assist in the aftermath of a deadly hit-and-run collision. As reported by the Hayward Police Department, this incident involved a white Lexus CT200h with dark rims and potential damage to its front bumper, among other features.

On February 4, the collision tragically took the life of a 51-year-old Hayward man at 6:54 AM. As emergency services responded, the suspect vehicle vanished southbound from the scene at the Hesperian Blvd & Sueirro St intersection. The identity of the victim is being withheld as of now under the stewardship of the Alameda County Coroner’s Office, while the case, documented as number 2025-007113, remains under diligent investigation.
