The incident took place at Sam & Friends electronics store on 710 North Main Street in Leominster, the robbery was brought to police attention at approximately 3:27 p.m. on Monday the suspects, described as Hispanic men estimated to be in their mid-20s to mid-30s, demanded the chargers and quickly escalated their request by jumping the counter and threatening the owner with a firearm one of the assailants asked to use a phone charger as a ruse; once inside, they bound the owner by his hands and ankles, leaving him in dire straits as they made their escape.

Authorities detailed that the suspects fled in a blue or gray Honda CR-V, an early 2020s model, bearing a stolen Pennsylvania license plate, JHL3804; they are considered armed and dangerous, a caution issued to the public against approaching these individuals, an emphasis made by the Leominster police.

The first suspect is described as ranking in height from 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches, he had dark hair and sported a navy baseball hat with a logo and black pants his attire included a black puffy jacket with "GUESS" in white lettering on the sleeve, clashed with orange and pink sneakers, and his face concealed by sunglasses and a blue medical mask, while his accomplice, shorter in stature between 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches, was decked in a black hooded jacket, black cargo pants secured by a gray belt, and black Nike sneakers, with sunglasses to obscure his face.

The shaken store owner, who had never encountered a robbery during his decades in business, shared with WCVB, "The owner of the store was bound by his hands and ankles with duct tape and held at gunpoint," he is now pinning his hopes on law enforcement to apprehend the assailants.
