Earlier today, Lauderhill Police Department responded to an incident that left a man critically injured from stab wounds. The authorities were called to an apartment on Northwest 48th Street near 22nd Court at around 5 a.m. after reports of an altercation, as NBC Miami reports.

Police said the dispute involved three people and became physical, leading to one individual being stabbed. Despite the chaos at the scene, police have clarified there is no ongoing threat to the public. The injured party was taken to a nearby hospital and is said to be in critical condition, according to the same report.

A separate report by Local 10 detailed that the stabbing occurred after a verbal altercation escalated among the three men. The incident took place at the 2200 block of Northwest 48th Terrace at approximately 4:41 a.m., slightly earlier than previously reported.
