Firefighters in Maury County faced a blaze late last night as they tackled a structure fire on Bear Creek Pike. According to a social media post from the Maury County Fire Department, the call came in at 10:05 PM, and a host of units responded. Engines 21, 30, and 32, alongside Tankers 21 and 30, as well as Squads 21 and 32, Truck 21, led by Districts 24 and 30, Division 20, and Ops 20, were dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, fire teams discovered a mobile home, at the time being remodeled, that was well alight. Columbia Truck 3 was initially called for mutual aid, however, due to what the driveway's long muddy condition, they were cancelled.

The firefighters started executing defensive strategies to get the fire under control. As the units worked, their effort was a race against time, tireless to extinguish the flames ahead of an impending storm. Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries.
