
A natural gas leak disrupted Miami residents yesterday along a busy downtown street. Emergency crews responded to South Miami Avenue, between 15th and 16th streets, as reported by WSVN. The area was quickly closed off by Miami Police and Fire Rescue while repairs were underway.
Authorities stated that a subcontractor accidentally cut a line, causing the leak. Traffic was affected, and a traffic alert was issued by the Miami Police Department on X, advising residents to avoid the area.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the repair efforts were completed without incident. The road closure was lifted once the leak was contained.
