
Authorities are increasing their search for the suspect in the fatal shooting of Delilah Ruiz, which occurred in northwest Miami-Dade this past Saturday. The incident happened after an argument near Northwest 189th Street and Northwest 63rd Avenue, which escalated, leaving Ruiz critically wounded. She later died from her injuries at Memorial Hospital West, as NBC Miami reported.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office is actively seeking information and offering up to a $5,000 reward for tips that lead to an arrest. A statement on the Crime Stoppers Miami & FL Keys X account, said, "We need your help to bring justice for Delilah and her family."
On Saturday, February 8, 2025, at approximately 7:56 p.m., Delilah Ruiz lost her life near N.W. 189th Street and N.W. 63rd Avenue in Hialeah, Florida.
