Miami's District 5 business owners are about to get a tech-savvy boost with the launch of the fifth cohort of the "AI Marketing Accelerator" course. Commissioner Eileen Higgins, in partnership with BizHack Academy, has rolled out this new initiative aimed at giving local merchants a leg up in the ever-evolving market by mastering artificial intelligence in marketing and sales.

The course, part of Commissioner Higgins' Elevate District 5 initiative, is set to arm entrepreneurs with advanced tools to not just survive but to also thrive in today's digital economy. "Artificial intelligence is no longer the future—it’s the present, transforming how businesses operate and compete," Commissioner Eileen Higgins told Miami-Dade. And in a bold move to democratize this knowledge, the course is offered for free, which is certain to appeal to budget-conscious business owners looking to cut costs while expanding their capabilities.

The virtual program is scheduled from March 4 through May 1. It includes sessions every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. via Zoom, accommodating entrepreneurs with English lessons as well as Spanish breakout rooms. It's a practical deep-dive into AI with a curriculum spanning from lead generation systems to crafting marketing visuals—all tailored for real-world application.

Stats from previous cohorts speak volumes with businesses clocking in significant success; hundreds of thousands in new revenue, a 129% uptick in task completion, and a 75% jump in adoption of AI tools—testaments to the program's impact. Dan Grech, Founder and CEO of BizHack Academy, emphasized the power of AI for small businesses, stating, "The small businesses we train in AI-powered marketing report immediate increases in revenue and reduction in costs, making AI the most powerful tool for business profitability and efficiency in our lifetimes," according to a statement obtained by Miami-Dade.

The perks of enrolling are already surfacing. For instance, Elliot Durant from the Pure Water Factory secured a huge contract thanks to skills honed in the accelerator. "I’m going to double, triple, quadruple, my growth over this next year because of me learning this," Durant revealed in an interview with Miami-Dade. With promises of time-saving and cost cutting, the course has touched not just business bottom lines but also personal lives, allowing entrepreneurs to pour back into their ventures and families alike.

Educational empowerment holds the promise of commercial resurrection for the small operators of District 5. The "AI Marketing Accelerator" course stands as a gateway for local growth, and so it is open for enrollment. District 5 entrepreneurs and small business owners looking to level up their digital game can register at bizhack.com/D5 and possibly join the likes of Durant in redefining what their businesses can achieve in a tech-forward landscape.
