Miami residents won't be needing their sweaters much in the coming days, with the mercury set to hover in the low 80s for the highs and nightly lows near a comfortable 70F, all thanks to a steadfast high pressure system residing in the western Atlantic Ocean. This system is keeping the weaker fronts to the north at bay, ensuring the warm, mostly dry conditions linger longer. According to a detailed forecast by the National Weather Service, the trend will continue well into the week, with varying degrees of cloud cover and persistent east winds that will especially calm by nightfall.
