According to NOPD's account, Ledet, a white male born on November 1, 1990, allegedly stole the motorcycle from the 1400 block of North Prieur Street on the eve of Halloween. The case appeared to have cracked open this February when Ledet reportedly tried to sell the stolen motorcycle online, leading to an arrest warrant being filed against him. He is wanted for motor vehicle theft and illegal possession of stolen things, as the department has issued, and Ledet's whereabouts remain unknown as investigators continue their search.
