Oklahoma City residents won’t need to put their trash and recycling out on Tuesday, as collections have been delayed due to bad weather and road conditions. The Big Blue trash and Big Green recycling pickups are now rescheduled for Saturday, February 22, according to the City of Oklahoma City.

The City of Oklahoma City waste management department, getting ahead of the storm, rescheduled Tuesday's pickup. While making their rounds, collections for Thursday and Friday are still set to occur without a hitch. OKC Utilities advises all customers to have carts out by 6 a.m. sharp on their new collection day.

Due to weather, bulky item pickups and routine bin services will be paused on Tuesday and Wednesday but will resume Thursday and Friday. If needed, pickups may continue into Saturday to catch up. If you're waiting for a new cart or repairs, those services won’t start until Thursday, so be prepared for some delays, as per the City of Oklahoma City.
