
On March 8, the Palm Beach County Library System invites the community to the second annual Women's Well-being Expo at the Lantana Road Branch Library. The event is from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at 4020 Lantana Rd., Lake Worth, focuses on empowering women through health awareness and wellness, as per the Palm Beach County release. It will bring together health professionals and organizations like Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies and Planned Parenthood to provide information and services for women's health needs.
The expo will feature talks from experts, including Dr. Stephanie Figueria from Women's Health Partners, covering topics like mental health, diabetes, and cancer management. Certified staff will also provide discreet health screenings, offering a comprehensive look at wellness resources.
According to the release, the Sylvester Cancer Center will also participate, helping create a supportive environment for women to discuss and address their health concerns.
