
In the early hours of Tuesday, a house in Central Peoria was engulfed in flames, causing distress in the neighborhood. Peoria firefighters responded to the blaze in the 3100 block of North Gale Avenue, where they witnessed heavy flames ravaging a single-story home. Three residents were reportedly able to escape the fiery grip that claimed their abode, while one was not so fortunate, sustaining injuries that required hospital treatment, as reported by CentralIllinoisProud.
While tackling the violent fire, fire crews had to combat more than just the ravenous flames; one resident, now wounded by the fiery outbreak, was sent to an area hospital. They were treated for burns and smoke inhalation, while the other two residents received treatment and release at the scene.
