Red Bay Coffee, the esteemed Bay Area coffee shop known for its unique blends and community-focused ethos, is set to relocate within the Ferry Building. The shop, which has become a staple for locals and visitors, is moving just a few doors from its current location. While the exact details of the move remain under wraps, Red Bay Coffee has provided teasers, promising visual renderings, and more information soon.
Despite closing its current space on Tuesday, Red Bay Coffee ensures that caffeine lovers won't miss their beloved brews during the transition. They'll be operating a coffee van in the Ferry Building Plaza to meet the needs of their loyal customers. "It has been a true honor to operate in one of the most iconic artisanal marketplaces in San Francisco," the team shared in a flyer, "thank you for your continued support—we wouldn’t be here without this amazing community," as reported by KRON4.
In a heartfelt social media post, Red Bay Coffee reminisced their journey since taking over the old Peet’s Coffee spot in October 2020, when the pandemic left the Ferry Building eerily quiet. The message spoke of their dedication to the city, venue, and excitement for the upcoming changes. "We believed in San Francisco, we believed in the Ferry Building, so we took a leap of faith," the Red Bay Coffee shared on their Instagram.
