San Diego is reeling from a recent homicide that has left the community in mourning. Hoodline reports deputies from the San Diego County Sheriff's Office discovered a woman with multiple stab wounds in a residence on the 20200 block of Rancho Villa Rd in Ramona following a report of an assault with a deadly weapon at about 8:58 p.m.
The deputies tried life-saving measures, and Cal Fire paramedics continued them, but the woman sadly was declared deceased at the scene. The identity of the victim has been withheld until her family is notified.
Now, a suspect has been identified in this tragic case. According to details released by San Diego County Crime Stoppers, Yolanda Olejniczak, also known as Yolanda Marodi, is wanted in connection with the murder of her spouse, 49-year-old Rebecca Marodi. The stabbing occurred last Monday, shortly before the initial incident report.
Yolanda Olejniczak is a Hispanic female with brown hair and eyes, standing 5'2" tall and weighing 166 lbs, and is known to have tattoos on both of her upper arms. Authorities believe she might be traveling in a silver 2013 Chevrolet Equinox, California license plate "8BQJ420," possibly accompanied by a small white dog.
San Diego County Sheriff's Homicide Unit, alongside U.S. Marshals Service's San Diego Fugitive Task Force, is actively seeking information that could lead to Olejniczak's capture. A $1,000 reward is being offered by Crime Stoppers for tips that result in an arrest.
