The San Francisco Police Department has issued a call to arms for residents, asking for assistance in the search for Sau Kuen Kwan, a 77-year-old Asian woman who has been reported missing and is at risk due to medical conditions. Kwan was last seen yesterday around 9:00 a.m., riding the 14 MUNI bus towards Chinatown from her home on the 3300 block of 25th Street, according to the San Francisco Police Department.
Described as being 5 feet tall and weighing 150 pounds with gray hair and black eyes, she is conspicuously at risk because of early-stage Alzheimer's disease, and she also requires medication for additional health concerns. On the day of her disappearance, Kwan was wearing a gray sweater, maroon shirt, and black and white striped pants.
Authorities are reaching out to the community for any leads and have instructed anyone who encounters Kwan to immediately call 911 with details of her current location and physical description. Additionally, the SFPD has opened its tip line for any information regarding Kwan's possible whereabouts. Tips can be passed on to the authorities by calling 1-415-575-4444 or texting TIP411 with the message starting with 'SFPD'.
