Danette Colbert of Slidell has been arrested for allegedly using Manzano's credit card at New Orleans stores. Surveillance footage shows her with Manzano on the morning of his death and later leaving his hotel room alone, WBRZ reports. With a history of financial crimes, she now faces fraud and theft charges.
Authorities are investigating Colbert beyond financial charges, examining her connection to Manzano’s death and allegations of drugging and robbing individuals. Manzano, in New Orleans for Super Bowl coverage with Telemundo Kansas City and Tico Sports, was found dead. Officials have not confirmed whether Colbert will face additional charges as the investigation continues, as stated by KFOR.
