
A suspect has been taken into custody by the York County Sheriff's Office in relation to a deadly shooting that occurred early in the morning in Fort Mill, near the vicinity of Carowinds Boulevard. The incident left one individual dead at a commercial location along Foothills Way and prompted a swift response from local law enforcement.
Identified as Duan Ralphielle Partlow, 46, of Sharon, South Carolina, the apprehension took place roughly four hours after the shooting was reported. The suspect was detained on Old York Road in York, a short distance from the original crime scene. According to an announcement made by the York County Sheriff's Office on Facebook, the arrest occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m.
The statement from the York County Sheriff's Office detailed the swift apprehension: "A suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal early morning shooting in Fort Mill off Carowinds Boulevard."
