Three suspects have been apprehended in connection with two shootings that targeted residences in Southeast Shelby County last month. The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office has reported that on January 21, gunfire struck homes located on Abbey Cove and Philgrove Way, prompting an investigation. Action News 5 named Jadon Robinson, 23, as one of those involved, charging him with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and tampering with evidence.

After the investigation yesterday, Shelby County detectives executed two search warrants and apprehended two 19-year-olds identified as Torrey Herron and Christian Elmore. According to WREG, they are each charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault, using a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and three counts of reckless endangerment. It was during their arrest that detectives discovered extensive weaponry, including a loaded Glock 19, drum magazines, and assorted ammunition.

Both Herron and Elmore were arrested without incident when detectives, together with the Sheriff’s Office's Fugitive Apprehension Team, Burglary Robbery Auto Theft, and Narcotics units, conducted the searches. Recovered at the Daysland Cove location were a Glock 19 handgun with an extended magazine and several high-capacity drum magazines. In the 3800 block of Barberry Street, a Glock 17 along with spent shell casings were uncovered, as detailed by a Facebook post by the Shelby County Sheriff's Office.

The bonds for Herron and Elmore have been set at $75,000 each, and their court appearances are scheduled for next Monday morning.
