
Delray Beach residents and commuters experienced delays today after a truck crashed into a power pole, causing the intersection at North Swinton Avenue and Northeast 2nd Street to be closed for an extended period.
According to CBS12, the crash caused significant damage, as photos from the scene showed a downed powerline. To manage traffic, authorities are directing drivers to use alternative routes, such as NW Swinton Avenue, due to the ongoing closure.
The Delray Beach Police Department posted on X advising the public to avoid the intersection of N. Swinton Ave and NE 2nd Street due to a truck collision with a power pole.
