A Wareham man has been apprehended after a stabbing incident at a local apartment complex, according to police reports. Twenty-nine-year-old Ian Hill faces serious accusations following an altercation last Friday at the Woods at Wareham apartment complex on Swifts Beach Road. As reported by NBC Boston, authorities say Hill broke into an apartment and proceeded to stab another man before fleeing the scene.
Despite his escape, Hill was located and arrested the following day within the same apartment complex where the crime took place. The rapid arrest came after a critical citizen tip led officers directly to him, and he was detained without incident; the victim, meanwhile, was hospitalized with injuries deemed non-life-threatening.
