The Arizona Supreme Court has launched two AI-generated reporters, Daniel and Victoria, to provide simplified summaries of court decisions and opinions. The new initiative aims to help Arizonans better understand the court system. The videos are available on the court's website, according to the Arizona Supreme Court.

The Court originally planned to produce brief videos alongside case decisions and news releases, but challenges in production led to delays. To improve efficiency, the Court introduced AI technology to deliver updates through social media and online platforms. "I’m thrilled that our Court is embracing AI technology to meet the public where they are," said Chief Justice Ann Scott Timmer, as reported by the Arizona Supreme Court.

The Arizona Court, led by Chief Justice Timmer, has been releasing news summaries of cases and rulings since October. Daniel and Victoria will now create video explanations to help the public better understand legal language. The Court is using AI technology to improve public engagement and plans to focus on projects related to Access to Justice, community programs, and civics content to keep Arizonans informed about the courts, as stated by the Arizona Supreme Court.
