Bay Area travelers should be aware of a temporary change in passport services next week. The City of Greenacres announced that passport services will open later than usual on Friday next week. Passport Services will begin at 1:30 PM, later than the usual morning hours.
The virtual queue will still open at the usual time, 5 AM, but the number of applicants that can be processed will be limited. The City of Greenacres highly recommend that applicants plan ahead.
The reason for the delay was not specified, but the community was notified in advance. "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding," the City of Greenacres stated.
