Miami-Dade authorities are investigating after a man’s body was found floating in a river canal this morning. Deputies responded to reports of a body in the water near NW 28th Street and NW South River Drive, according to WSVN.
No details about the man's identity or how he ended up in the water have been released. The body, covered by a yellow tarp, was discovered by Sky 10 before 11 a.m. with medics at the scene, as reported by Local 10.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and sheriff’s deputies are investigating it as a possible drowning.
