
A major disruption occurred on the Florida Turnpike in northwest Miami-Dade today after two box trucks collided. The crash, which happened just south of Northwest 199th Street in the southbound lanes, caused significant traffic delays, with debris covering the road.
According to NBC Miami, aerial footage showed one truck tipped on its side, while the other sustained heavy damage.
Vehicles attempting to pass through the area were forced to use the shoulder. Information on injuries was limited, with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue confirming their response but providing no details on victims' conditions, as reported by Local 10 News. The Florida Highway Patrol also responded to the scene, assisting with the investigation.
