Canadian grocery giant T&T Supermarket has just confirmed plans to open a new location right in the heart of the city. In T&T Supermarkets' Instagram post, they announced that their upcoming store would be at San Francisco City Center at 2675 Geary Blvd, a prime spot at the corner of Geary Boulevard and Masonic Avenue. Set to open doors in Winter 2026, this marks a significant expansion for the brand, following their penetration into the US market with stores in Bellevue, Washington, and soon in San Jose, California.
The move promises to bring much more than just groceries to the table. With over 200 private-label products and an in-store fast-casual restaurant boasting affordable, authentic Asian dishes, the grocery retailer intends to enhance the local food landscape significantly. Shoppers can look forward to indulging in various Asian cuisines, with offerings ranging from Taiwanese pork soup dumplings to crispy Peking Duck and a trove of freshly baked goods. T&T Supermarkets' Instagram post teased San Franciscans with a taste of what's to come, as the post displayed enthusiasm for bringing "T&T fans in San Francisco the wide variety of food options and services that you know and love."
A press release from T&T further detailed the store's unique features. "The city offers a unique and eclectic food scene, and the neighborhood we've chosen is a vibrant retail hub. Lee also anticipated potential patrons, including those from the nearby Kaiser Permanente Medical Center and the University of San Francisco.
