On the day of her disappearance, Destini was wearing a black jacket and distinctive black & white Jordan shoes with orange accents. Having been known to frequent the 6600 block of S. Kimbark Ave, the police believe someone in the area may hold clues to her whereabouts. Concerned and distressed, family members have reported her as possibly in danger, prompting authorities to ask the public for assistance, as noted in a release from the Chicago Police Department.
Officers assigned to the Area One Special Victims Unit are spearheading the investigation and are calling for anyone with information to come forward.
