
The Chicago Police Department (CPD) is seeking assistance in locating a missing senior citizen, Eddie Ellis, who was last seen in the vicinity of 3300 S. Michigan Avenue. According to the information provided by CPD, the 71-year-old Ellis is a Black male with brown eyes and gray or partially gray hair. He stands about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds. The details of his disappearance were published on the CPD's official news website yesterday.
Ellis, who may appear confused and is thought to be in need of medical attention, was last spotted wearing a red baseball cap, a long brown and black jacket, and brown trousers. To hasten the search, CPD has issued a description of his usual attire and his physical characteristics on their news website. The community is being urged to assist and notify authorities if they have any information regarding Ellis's whereabouts.
The police have opened channels for the public to assist in the search, requesting that anyone with information on Ellis's location call 911 immediately or reach out directly to the Area One SVU detectives at (312) 747-8380.
