
On March 14, Daly City Police gave chase to a stolen vehicle, ending with the driver's arrest and the discovery of other stolen items. According to a social media post by the Daly City Police Department, the incident kicked off around 3:26 a.m. at Hickey Blvd and Skyline Blvd.
When the authorities located the vehicle, which was reported stolen, the officers tried to effectuate a stop. This action led immediately to a chase. During the pursuit, officers swiftly deployed a tire deflation device. Once stopped, the car's occupants scattered, but the police apprehended the driver without further incidents.
Further investigation produced a stash of several stolen catalytic converters, among other items found inside the stolen car. The consequences were serious for the driver, a 28-year-old male from Oakland, who now faces multiple felony charges. He was booked into the San Mateo County Jail, awaiting the legal procession of his alleged crimes.
