Commuters traveling on MO Route 1 in Clay County should be prepared for delays as the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced lane closures for resurfacing operations. Between Indiana Avenue and 72nd Street, lanes on both northbound and southbound sides will be closed intermittently beginning from March 10 through March 31. These closures are scheduled between the hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., as stated in the MoDOT notice.
The project forecasts improved conditions for drivers once completed, but will momentarily disrupt the daily transit of those depending on this route.
