
A man was arrested after a failed robbery attempt at a gambling venue in Fort Pierce, according to the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office. Dylan Avery Orlando, 24, was apprehended yesterday following a confrontation involving a gun.
According to CBS12, the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office (SLCSO) executed a search warrant, leading to Orlando's arrest near 5300 Seagrape Drive in the Indian River Estates neighborhood. Orlando’s arrest followed an attempted armed robbery at Card House Port St. Lucie, a poker and table games venue, where he allegedly used a weapon to instill fear.
Orlando faces multiple charges, including attempted robbery with a weapon, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, resisting an officer without violence, reckless driving, and driving with a suspended license, as reported by the sheriff's office and detailed in a TCPalm article. He was detained in the St. Lucie County Jail with a bond set at $22,000.
