
Yesterday morning in Hollywood, a confrontation escalated into a shooting. The police responded to a call near North 29th Avenue and Sherman Road around 8:30 a.m. and found two individuals involved in an altercation that led to gunfire, WSVN reported.
One victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, as per the Sun Sentinel report. The victim was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital with the help of emergency services. The police quickly secured the scene, taking all subjects into custody and seizing the weapons involved. Detectives are interviewing witnesses and those involved as they continue to investigate the incident.
Local 10 confirmed that the shooting occurred along the 2900 block of Sheridan Street. They also reported that police detained everyone involved, ensuring public safety.
