"This is a major step forward in the fight against pediatric cancer," O'Brien said, emphasizing the bill's aim to provide more families and kids with a "fighting chance". The bill, having garnered ample support, eyes its next hurdle in the Senate. In the realm of sports and economic development, O'Brien's touch is evident in the state budget, via House Bill 1001, increasing funds for Evansville's Professional Sports and Convention Development Area (PSCDA), purported to spur growth in sports tourism by bankrolling local infrastructure projects, as per the Indiana House Republican.
